Two arrests at the same Medlock Bridge Road intersection, a third arrest and two crashes along State Bridge Road made Saturday, Aug. 15, one of the busier days on the Johns Creek Police Department's daily log.

The JCPD daily bulletin recorded 10 total entries for the day: three arrests, two accidents and five other incidents. The department did not provide additional details beyond the bulletin.

DUI arrest at Medlock Bridge and Parsons

A 52-year-old man was arrested at 2:33 a.m. in the 100 block of Medlock Bridge Road at Parsons Road on two misdemeanor charges: DUI (less safe, alcohol) and failure to maintain lane. Officers first logged a DUI call at the location at 2:19 a.m., about 14 minutes before the arrest. The case was closed and cleared by arrest.

Racing arrest at the same spot

Same intersection. Different driver.

Nearly 19 hours later, a 28-year-old man was arrested at 9:26 p.m. at the same location on two misdemeanor charges: reckless driving and racing on a highway or streets. That case was also closed and cleared by arrest.

Misdemeanor arrest on State Bridge Road

A 39-year-old woman was arrested at 7:06 a.m. in the 100 block of State Bridge Road at Medlock Bridge Road on a misdemeanor charge listed in the bulletin as "Arrest – Other." A wanted-person-located entry under the same case number was logged minutes later. The case was cleared by arrest.

Two crashes at State Bridge intersections

Both of Saturday's reported crashes occurred at State Bridge Road intersections:

• A two-vehicle crash at Kimball Bridge Road and State Bridge Road was reported at 1:32 p.m.
• A two-vehicle crash at Camden Way and State Bridge Road was reported at 3:59 p.m.

The bulletin does not indicate whether injuries occurred in either collision.
