"At Divine, the laptop crowd actually contributes to the atmosphere," he wrote. "There are enough tables, and enough distance among them, for a person working quietly to become part of the café's rhythm rather than an obstacle within it."

The design leans on contrasts: dark ceilings, concrete floors, large white-framed windows and varied furniture that includes a table resembling an old carpenter's workbench. Jolles wrote that the interior is convincing enough that the suburban view of McGinnis Ferry Road "briefly feels like the part that does not quite belong."

The drink list includes cold brew, espresso drinks, house creations like the Divine Latte and Café Saigon, a blackberry mocha, and a lavender tonic. Tea drinkers get ginger turmeric, peppermint, matcha, chai and fruit-infused iced teas.

Food runs from croissants and breakfast sandwiches through paninis and lighter lunch plates. Reviewers on joe.coffee single out the Divine sunrise sandwich, a Bulgogi Philly steak sandwich and a fish-shaped pastry filled with sweet red bean paste. Gelato rounds out the afternoon options.
