Fulton County Schools promoted Erin Nusnbaum to Executive Director of the Office of the Superintendent, a senior role overseeing district-wide operations that affect Johns Creek High School, Chattahoochee High School and Northview High School.
The district posted the promotion to its website Monday, Sept. 21, and announced it on social media Tuesday, Sept. 22, alongside other internal promotions and new hires.
Nusnbaum has worked in the district for nearly 20 years. She started as a classroom teacher and moved through a series of school- and district-level leadership positions before stepping into the executive director role.
The district did not release a job description for the position or a statement from Nusnbaum or Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney about the appointment. No board meeting or public introduction date has been announced.
