20-year-old charged in Johns Creek DUI stop as police log 24 incidents, double the day before
Johns Creek Police arrested a 20-year-old man on five charges including DUI-under-21 and reckless driving early Wednesday, Aug. 19, one of 24 incidents logged that day, exactly double the 12 recorded the day before.
Officers stopped Ian Thomas Solter at the 10900 block of Jones Bridge Road at 4:32 a.m. and charged him with DUI-under-21, open container while operating a motor vehicle, speeding, following too closely and reckless driving, all misdemeanors, according to the department's daily bulletin.
Stalking report on Starfire Lane
A stalking incident was reported at the 100 block of Starfire Lane between 6:02 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. The case is listed as suspended and inactive. No suspect was identified in the bulletin.
Hit-and-run on State Bridge Road
A hit-and-run occurred at the 5900 block of State Bridge Road around 1 p.m. The driver fled the scene and remains unknown. The case is suspended and inactive, with no arrest made. The crash involved Zoubir Et Tadmouti at 5945-200 State Bridge Road.
State Bridge Road has seen repeated incidents in recent weeks. As we reported Aug. 19, five crashes hit that corridor in a 10-day span.
Other arrests
Zada Rose Danziger, 47, was arrested at the 100 block of Medlock Bridge Road and Vista Bluff Drive at 8:50 p.m. on a disorderly conduct charge.
A wanted person was located and taken into custody at the 11300 block of Lakefield Drive around 9:24 p.m.
Daniel Lee Dotson, 79, was arrested at Medlock Bridge Road and State Bridge Road at 4:52 p.m. on charges of no insurance, vehicle registration violation and impeding traffic flow.
The bulletin also recorded four no-insurance arrests in a single day: Kaelyn Alana Causwell, 32, at Bell Road and Boles Road at 8:49 a.m.; Idabel Lucas Trejo, 29, at State Bridge Road and E. Morton Road at 10:55 a.m.; Randi Allison Robison, 52, at State Bridge Road and Jones Bridge Road at 1:18 p.m.; and Dotson's arrest that afternoon.
Phillip Randall Lewis, 70, was arrested at the 5800 block of State Bridge Road at 12:03 p.m. for driving with a suspended or revoked license and disobeying a traffic-control device.
Six traffic accidents
The day's six crashes included collisions on Old Alabama Road at Brumbelow Road (7:44 a.m.), Medlock Bridge Road at Abbotts Bridge Road (1:33 p.m.), State Bridge Road at Medlock Bridge Road (4:52 p.m.), Medlock Crossing Parkway at Medlock Bridge Road (4:46 p.m.) and two more on Medlock Bridge Road in the evening.
The bulletin notes that some events may not have occurred on the same day they were logged. The stalking and hit-and-run cases remain open with no follow-up dates published.
