Johns Creek police arrested a 40-year-old man on a misdemeanor battery charge at the 9900 block of Buice Road at 11:56 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2. The department also logged four traffic crashes across the city that day, bringing the total incident count to five.

The arrest was assigned Case #2026002845, according to the JCPD daily bulletin. The bulletin does not name a victim or describe the circumstances of the altercation, and no additional charges are listed.

Four crashes in 24 hours

The day's first crash occurred at 699 Bristol Trace at 12:55 a.m. Sunday. The involved party is listed as "unknown" in the bulletin, and the case was not reported to the system until 3:27 p.m., more than 14 hours after the incident.

At 3:49 a.m., a crash at 9925 Haynes Bridge Road involved two drivers, Ayoub Lakrouti and Giuliana Alejandra Reategui. The department reported that case at 4:59 a.m.

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Technology Circle at 11:50 a.m. involved Logan Makenzie Wallace and Albert Sol Yoo. That intersection has drawn safety scrutiny before: a pedestrian, Kevin Choi, 53, was struck and killed there in June 2025, prompting a JCPD Traffic Unit investigation.

The final crash of the day occurred at 5098 Kimball Bridge Road at 11:56 p.m., involving Jordan Michael Ottenstein. That case was reported at 12:43 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3.

The bulletin notes that some incidents may not be reported on the same day they occur, which accounts for gaps between incident and report times. No court date for the battery suspect appears in the bulletin.
