Johns Creek families looking for a fall dance program have a tight window: Atlanta Dance Theatre's 45th season begins Monday, Aug. 10, and enrollment is open now.

The studio sits at 4150 Old Milton Parkway, Suite 210, in Alpharetta, minutes from Johns Creek. It offers conservatory-style training for students ages 3 to 18 in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap, according to the studio's Season 45 registration announcement. The program accepts first-time dancers alongside students pursuing pre-professional training.

Artistic director Shelley Grames has been teaching dance in the metro Atlanta area for 18 years, working with students of all ages through professionals, according to the studio's website. The organization has been featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Roswell Area Families magazine and Explore Georgia.

Atlanta Dance Theatre received a grant from the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta for Season 44, its previous season, recognizing the organization's community arts mission.

Parent Graciela Blanno praised the program in a review posted on the studio's website, noting the affordability, Saturday class availability and the staff's warmth. She singled out instructors by name and said her daughter became "obsessed" after starting ballet classes two years ago.

Saturday classes are also available for families who need weekend scheduling.

The Johns Creek Patch calendar featured the Season 45 opening as a highlighted event for Monday, Aug. 10 at 5 p.m.
