Shake Shack is scheduled to begin serving customers at Medley in Johns Creek at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, a day after the development’s public ribbon cutting.
The restaurant will occupy 2100 Medley Boulevard and become the chain’s 11th Georgia location, according to an Oct. 20 company announcement reported by North Atlanta Star.
Opening-day sales will support Camp Twin Lakes. Shake Shack plans to give the nonprofit $1 for each sandwich purchased at the Medley location that day. The organization offers camp experiences for children and families affected by serious illnesses, disabilities and other challenges.
Shake Shack said its partnership with Camp Twin Lakes began when its Buckhead restaurant opened in 2014. Early customers at the Johns Creek opening will also receive custom tote bags, though the company did not announce a quantity.
Regular hours are scheduled for 10 a.m.–11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m.–midnight Friday and Saturday. Alongside its burgers, fries and shakes, the restaurant plans to offer the chain’s returning Black Truffle Menu.
The opening coincides with the final day of Medley’s three-day launch celebration at Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road.
According to the official event schedule, festivities begin Wednesday, Oct. 28, with Medley Unveiled, a preview benefiting the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. The event runs from 6–10 p.m.; tickets cost $175, and guests must be 21 or older.
The public ribbon cutting follows at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. On Friday, Oct. 30, Party on the Plaza runs from 6–10 p.m., with live music and Halloween activities for families.
Medley is a $560 million development covering 43 acres, according to its official FAQ. Trader Joe’s opened ahead of the broader development.
At full buildout, plans call for 145,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 881 residences, a 150-room boutique hotel and 110,000 square feet of offices, according to a June article republished by Toro Development Company.
The project is led by Mark Toro, who also helped develop Avalon in Alpharetta.
